Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation through her appearances on TV. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. Soon after, she moved to Texas where she pursued a training in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida in Orlando and performed in many character roles. This included local independent film productions as well as international commercials. Despite the small parts she soon discovered her love to act. In 2001, she moved from the Midwest to New York where her first part was in All My Kids' daytime soap-opera as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she had small parts in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief drama The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to appear alongside a number of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. in Law & Order which was where her best-known performance came in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. After that, she was a part of the brief, but short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza received nominations for a variety of awards, including Best Supporting Actress - TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her remarkable performance on dramatized television shows from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then assigned as a regular part in CSI Miami. Her role was Marisol Delko, who is the lover of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. It was put on hold after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is of Italian heritage as well as a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. The family she was raised in was a religious and conservative family. Milano's professional career started at seven as her babysitter took her to an audition. Her audition was among over 1,000 hopefuls. Her audition was taken among only four girls. Milano appeared in advertisements at Broadway and in television commercials and in the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
