Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples has been an American performer and actor for more than a decade. She is most famous for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also was in the character of Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her parents Wendy as well as Ashley. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing with Orlando Repertory Theatre. She was the valedictory speech of her school in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to accept her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. The second time it was due to her desire to play in Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in the television movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) as well as The Good Mother. She was a part of the cast for the role of a major regular in the second season of the show drama Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder in an interview in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples in September 2014 as one of the top American young actors.
